Chekerdboard Artist Trading Card Swap

Hello!!!
I am sharing a picture tutorial for this wonderful set of ATC's. They were made for a swap over the Smeared and Smudged Facebook Group
Supplies:
  • Canson Mixed Media paper (140 lb)
  • Distress Ink - Black Soot
  • Sharpie pen - Medium and fine
  • Gelatos
  • Workable Fixative
  • Glossy Accent
  • Scotch permanent glue pen
  • Versamark Ink
  • Distress Embossing Powder - Black Soot
  • Diamond Mesh - Black
  • Inkadinkado Stamp Set - Calligraphy Ornamental
How to:
Draw the Checkerboard pattern.  I did three different styles.
Fill in the spaces following the Checkerboard pattern
Here are the finished checkerboard backgrounds

Using Versamak stamp the corner of the card with the swirl stamp

Cover the ik with embossing powder and heat set it.
Add distress ink to the edge, This adds dimension to the card.
Glue the image. Add depth to  the base with Gelatos and a small brush.
Add the embelishment and you have finished.
