I am a mom, a daughter, a sister, an aunt, a godmother, a friend, a co-worker... somethings are missing I know, but there are moments when those other roles don't fit into anything.
As a mom I give my everything to be with my kids, they are young adults and so many events are happening in their lives, I just feel that if I blink I will miss something.
As a daughter, I try to be the best I can.
As a sister, aunt and godmother... I am always there, willing to help and take care of what ever they need.
As a friend, well as friendship goes, I have a very close group of friends, who I really feel are family.
Yeah... as a co-worker I try as hard as I can to be a good one and help when ever I can,...but... some days it is so hard!!!
I told you in the beginning that there were some parts of me that I wasn't sharing...yet!!!
Well, I am a partner in crime to a wonderful man. I have learned so much with him, yes... I can sense you are smiling..., but I don't mean what you are thinking. I have learned to be patient, to follow my dreams, to cry when I need to cry, to laugh so hard that I'll have to cross my legs and try to run to the bathroom (believe me sometimes I have not run fast enough). I've learned to accept who I am today and be excited about who I'll be tomorrow.
That brings me to.... exactly that: ME! Who am I without this titles?
I am a woman who is lost and found at the same time...
I am a woman who is tired and full of energy at the same time...
I am a woman who is so afraid of everything yet so brave at the same time...
I am a woman who is sad and happy at the same time...
I am a woman....
I am... so many things at the same time.
See that is the thing, I am continuously evolving, growing, changing, learning and I want to be this woman.
Sometime ago I began a journey of healing and self acceptance. It has been hard, but I've learned to follow my heart and let things be.
I've learned that there isn't a word that will describe who I am forever.
I just discovered that the most amazing word to describe myself today is... Me!
